CoD: The Redemption (NiDe)
On a very calming night, unlike the week that stood behind them, even the month before that, did two very exhausted Group 935 members sit together in a silent solidarity to whatever peace they had just recently attained in the last hour or so. Their time together was sometimes strange and awkward.
Nights were never, under their normal circumstances, anywhere near normal. Considering how to normalcy of life had come and gone throughout their time together, Tank and Nikolai had founded a strange friendship between the two of them that not many people could understand, let alone the only other two people that existed in their immediate vicinity
My child.
My son.
My pride and joy.
Don't let them tell you who you can and can't be. When you fight, we all fight alongside with you.
I love you.
They do, too. It might not seem like it though.
They do though.
You are our blessing all in all.
I fear one day I may lose you
In some madness that I cannot control,
A fate unavoidable,
But I'd rather give my own life to protect yours.
I love you and everything you stand for.
It's gonna be okay, I promise.
My child, my son, so full of potential.
You'll show them all.
I know you will.

The sun had just started setting and Aoba had just left work an hour later than his usual shift. He walked back home and marched straight up into his room, exhausted from his day.
It was unlike any other day he's ever had. First, he never dealt with so many customers at one time. Especially that many angry ones. Then, to top it all off, his boss didn't exactly know how to deal with them. In conclusion, he looked at the bright side of the situation. At the end of all the conflicts, he had a few extra days off. So he didn't really complain about that.
"Aoba, someone's at the front door!" He groaned and made his way downstairs towards the door

“Now tell me something of your ultimate secret,” Nikolai put down the bottle he typically
guarded so closely beside him. A grin that spoke of intrigue fell into this facial expression. “What exactly were you doing here in a place like that, (Y/N)?”
That was quite the question, wasn't it?
Our young man, only a little past the age of (Y/O), could not find a way to answer.
“I'm not very sure…” (Y/N) looks around, confused and most of all, terrified of the four
strange men that had picked him up from wherever he had been beforehand. He could barely remember his own name, let alone anything past the firs

It was typical. All of them fighting alongside one another. The importance of teamwork coming down to a life or death matter.
It's simple, really.
They look out for each other.
It's almost instinct at this point.
Things started to get out of hand though. And more of the living dead showed up than normal.
Without a second thought, the doctor split up from the group to reload the rifle in his hand, maybe even escape the hoards for the time being.
That was the unfortunate thought process of Doctor Edward Richtofen.
In his case however, things were about to be just as misfortunate on his side of things.
As the halls of Der Riese grew smaller

Worry went throughout Mink's mind all day and even at the beginning of the evening. It seemed he was being avoided by Aoba for no specific reason..or at least he didn't know that reason himself.
No matter what it was, he just wanted to know that he wasn't causing any problems for him. To be more honest, he didn't want his influence to be negative in any way.
This had Mink thinking that it might have been a bad idea to have had Aoba move in with him.
He just wanted the two of them to be at peace for once.
And he felt the decision to leave the city was best for the both of them.
Whatever it was, he hoped his overthinking wasn't as bad as he

APH: The Last Snowflake (GerRus)
When the night falls into the sky, the secrets so well hidden away become a reality to every person in the world. Everything and everyone seem to have some part in this reality whether they are directly involved or simple bystanders.
It's the adventure of being alive.
The evening had just begun as soon as the sun had fully set.
Two men, both in their early twenties, sat across from each other in a relatively small room, win only a desk separating them.
"It's been a while, hasn't it?" Ivan began the conversation on a light note. Or at least tried to.
"Certainly has," Ludwig replied, trying his best to keep their talk as formal as possible.

Dear journal,
Today... Today something happened.
What happened? Well, where do I start?
To begin with, I met a very strange man. He was certainly...different.
As part of our newest German allies, I still could not shake the feeling of trouble when I bumped into..The Doctor.
His name was Edward Richtofen. A German scientist that served under another named Maxis.
I've only heard of them, of their experiments and horrific stories that followed.
It was when I saw him for myself that I felt those suspicions were true.
Not of Maxis however... Of his subordinate Richtofen.

"It cannot be! It simply cannot be!" Penny shouted at the top of her lungs, unable to understand as to why they wouldn't allow her to see Ruby again. The two guards that tried explaining the situation as calmly as possibly were only met with more retorts.
"Why? She is my friend!"
"Look," The guard started to get frustrated with her.
"That's just how it is. Get over it." He began to walk away with another guard beside him, whom uncovered his ears shortly after her episode ended.
Penny walked back to her room in utter defeat.
Morning turned to noon, and noon soon turned to nightfall. Nevertheless, Penny remained at her windowsill and watched
